01How it may work
A broccoli-derived isothiocyanate studied in cellular defence signalling. Glucoraphanin precursor, active myrosinase, preformed sulforaphane and direct stabilized formulations are not interchangeable, and urinary recovery is an exposure proxy rather than a clinical benefit.
02What people have studied
Formulation-specific crossover studies show that verified active myrosinase and preformed sulforaphane can increase urinary metabolite recovery relative to glucoraphanin alone. Clinical evidence remains outcome-specific and largely limited to modest surrogates, exploratory or mixed rating-scale findings and informative null trials. No completed human intervention demonstrates longer lifespan or validated healthspan.
03What to consider
Concentrated formulations can cause gastrointestinal effects, and exact source, conversion, stability and dose matter. Small, selected and heterogeneous trials do not establish universal, long-term or interaction-free safety.
04Local pathway
This science review does not establish a Thailand market route. Ingredient source, formulation and finished-product status require separate official confirmation.
